Getting Around

Victoria truly is a walkable city and the picturesque Inner Harbour and downtown core are best explored on foot. In fact, many of our guests come with cars and don’t use them again until they leave this beautiful city.

But to discover the rest of the Island and the Gulf Islands, numerous options are available. From a two-seater pedicab to horse-drawn carriages to 50+ seat buses, there are many options to choose from.

Victoria Airport Shuttle

Victoria Airport Shuttle is your direct link between Victoria International Airport and downtown Victoria. There are several trips every day. No reservation needed.

BC Transit

The Victoria Regional Transit System runs seven days a week serving the region including all ferry terminals (Sidney, Swartz Bay, Brentwood Bay, Ogden Point) and downtown as well as the Victoria International Airport. If you need to use more than one bus to complete your trip each boarding will cost $2.50. Transfers are no longer available. Day Passes can be purchased on the bus for $5 for unlimited travel that day. Exact change is required.

Enjoy a leisurely ride and hop off to explore Fisherman's Wharf, Chinatown, restaurants, waterfront walkways, and other unique areas around the harbour. Daily from March through October, look for the dockside "FERRY STOP" signs and tour the city one stop at a time.
