This brand new condo is just two blocks from the waterfront, in the Old Town neighbourhood of The Empress, the Legislature and the Union Club; a fantastic location in the heart of the City, a gem for those who enjoy the livable, walkable, sophisticated downtown life.

Two bedrooms and two bathrooms are the bare facts. The Master bedroom has a Queen bed and the second bedroom is a Full, sleeps 4 in beds, no pull out sofa.

The difference is in the details of everything throughout.

The kitchen is designed with thick polished natural granite slab countertops, contemporary shaker-style frosted glass accent cupboard doors, custom peninsula for gourmet convenience, double undermount stainless steel sinks, European soft-closing drawers & doors and under-cabinet LED lighting.

Sovereign Commons is a rooftop terrace re-imagined as an outdoor living room with bountiful greenery, cushy seating, an outdoor fireplace and an outdoor kitchen with a built-in stainless steel barbeque and dining seating. A place to connect with your family and guests or other residents of The Sovereign.

One really neat and modern feature is the elevator garage system.  It's pretty fun to drive into an elevator in your car to take you to your parking spot.  That said, it is not ideal for big trucks or SUVs.  If you will be renting a car, make it a smaller one.

Important Notes:

Bike storage can be a tricky issue.  Every building has a different bike storage policy and there are no guarantees that spots will be available.  Every building has a zero tolerance for bikes in the lobbies or elevators, fines will be issued for such. There is no bike storage for this building.

We recommend renting bikes while you are here, many of the bike rental companies will allow them to be stored there at the end of the day even if you rent them for a week.

If you have a large vehicle, please be sure and check the garage clearance for the building to make sure your vehicle will fit.

This condo is the perfect location to explore Victoria. It is close by to the harbour, the Empress, and all the cute shops and bars. I would definitely stay here again! The parking lot was a little tricky to manoeuvre between the elevator and the right parking spot. The condo was very clean and the kitchen was well appointed. It was a great place to stay while exploring Victoria.

We had an amazing time on our trip to Victoria. Our accommodations were superb! The condo was beautiful, clean, comfortable, quiet and the location was perfect. We enjoyed time on the balcony and the large kitchen made eating in great. Your staff was excellent and very courteous. I think the only small negative was the sink in the master bathroom seem to drain slowly. Thank you to everyone on your staff for making it a wonderful experience and we hope to be coming back soon and will definitely be using your services again.

This is a fantastic condo in a GREAT location! Everything was clean, the check-in process was easy, and we had a very enjoyable stay. Everything worked perfectly, and it was a great choice for our family. The rooftop view is probably the best in the city. I highly recommend this place!

This lovely apartment is in the middle of everything Victoria could offer - restaurants and bars, harbour with various attractions, walking distance to Beacon Hill Park etc. It has a fabulous, well-equipped kitchen, two spacious bedrooms with plenty of storage space and a couple of stylish bathrooms, as well as a large flatscreen TV with netflix etc. Although it is central the flat is very quiet and well soundproofed and has the added attraction of a truly splendid roof terrace with the most fantastic views. Definitely recommended for chilling out on a warm day - or even on a cold day as there is a fire to sit beside on comfy seats; also BBQ facilities. Check-in and out were simple and quick. Highly recommended for central Victoria.

Here for my son's Rookie camp with Victoria Royals. Victoria is absolutely incredible. With so much to do within walking distance of this beautiful condo. Our family will be back, if not for hockey, on another vacation. This condo could not have been more perfect in every way and we will only stay here in future if available. My husband was unable to travel with us this time and I cannot wait for him to stay here in condo and walk the area with us for his first time. Sharon was awesome and accessible for anything required.

The Apartment is very new, beautifully decorated and outfitted, and extremely clean. Communication is very good. Was met at the door by a representative of the management company. Given a very thorough orientation to the building and apartment. There is an excellent house manual with some great recommendations for shopping and dining. The common rooftop area is really beautiful, we had a perfect family barbecue up there. Location is great for exploring the city on foot.

A beautiful condo in the heart of Victoria, even better than described. This was our first AirBNB experience and I am afraid the bar has been set extremely high. The condo was an easy walk to many great attractions and restaurants. Our host greeted us upon our arrival, she was awesome. She was very responsive and provided some great suggestions on where to go and where to eat. We will return to the Victoria Modernity on our next visit to Victoria. Sharon our concierge was awesome. Fantastic, super modern, apartment right in the heart of the city! I absolutely loved every minute of staying here. We had an amazing time at this condo! It was my first Air BNB experience and it set the bar really high! The location is perfect, right downtown within walking distance of the harbour, Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf, Legislative buildings, the Empress Hotel and tons of restaurants and shops. The apartment was immaculate. Clean, modern and perfectly set up for our stay. We felt like the first people to ever stay there, it was so well cared for. The private patio and shared rooftop were awesome additions to our living space. The hosts were very knowledgeable and helpful for our stay. This was a full service experience in our home away from home. On our next adventure to Victoria, we will 100% return to this accommodation.

We enjoyed 10 Acres restaurant only one block away. And the Royal Theatre could not be more convenient..We used the rooftop as an outdoor living space and had it to ourselves almost every time. We even cooked on the grill and had cocktails by the fireplace. The condo is perfectly located to tourist areas, but also near bus lines that took us to West Vic and North Island to get away from the crowds and noise. We will be back - perfect long weekend.

We had a wonderful stay. The accommodations were complete, clean and very central to downtown Victoria. Excellent parking was provided. Arden was our host; she is top notch--offering places to visit, to dine and she gave us excellent instructions for our stay. Very personable. My sisters and I found the Victoria Modernity to fit our needs in every way. It has a beautiful kitchen furnished with all the cooking equipment that we needed. It was in a great location right in the middle of downtown within walking distance to the BC Museum, Parliament, Empress Hotel, and the waterfront. There are many eclectic restaurants close by. Only drawback was the car elevator which freaked my sister out!!! We would definitely recommend Victoria Prime Services also and especially Arden who was very informative and friendly.


PARKING for one vehicle is INCLUDED in the rent in the buildings' secure underground garage.
PARKING GARAGE CLEARANCE is 6' 8".  Length of the PARKING ELEVATOR is 18' (about the size of an extended minivan).

CHECK IN time starts at 4:00 pm and CHECK OUT time is by 11:00 am.  Occasionally we may be able to accommodate special requests but there are no guarantees.

ALL of our rentals are NON-SMOKING.  City/Strata bylaws dictate that there is no smoking of any kind inside, outside, on balconies or even within 7 metres (23 feet) of all buildings.  Fines are enforced.

NO PETS allowed.

No bike storage for this building.

VP cannot guarantee that building amenities will be functional, sometimes they are down for service and this is out of our control.  

There is no wifi in the common areas of buildings.

No furniture is ever to be added or removed without written approval and assistance by VP.

Minimum 3 night rental.
