BC Ferries with service to The Gulf Islands, Vancouver and the Lower Mainland are a 30 minute drive and Pacific Coach Lines is one way to get there. The local bus can take you there as well. The Victoria Clipper passenger only ferry sails into downtown Seattle and offers ground transport shuttles to other destinations in Seattle, such as the airport.

I stayed here for almost 2 months and thoroughly enjoyed the well equipped and beautifully decorated condo. It has everything you need to cook and host dinners. The bed is very comfortable, and there is lots of storage in the bedroom. Bathroom is very spacious, with a shower, and separate bathtub. The condo has a nice view of the parliament building. Location is great! Would definitely stay here again.

We were met at check in, which made a lovely change from having to use a remote location to access the key having to use an app on your phone. I much prefer the human touch.
The apartment is extremely well equipped and very comfortable and was spotlessly clean. The location is perfect, right in the centre and an easy walk everywhere. The private secure parking was a real bonus. It was easy to access under the building and the parking space was easy to park in, a real bonus!

The apartment is cozy and comfortable. Our second time staying in this unit, so you know we like it. The building's gym is an asset, the bldg location is fantastically convenient, the kitchen is well equipped (and we did a lot of cooking), bldg proximity to Market on Yates was also good. A very well located apartment in Victoria. quite adequate in size for two. Our daughter came over on Bridgman day and we were able to cook a turkey dinner in the lovely kitchen. It had everything we needed. The apartment was clean and well fitted in all aspects. We would have appreciated brighter lightbulbs in the living room and over the table so we could read and do puzzles on the table. NOTE: Thank you for your feedback. We will work on the bulbs.

Unfortunately, due to my unexpected emergency illness requiring hospitalization, we had to last minute cancel our trip. The owners tried very diligently to re-book at the last hour. We plan to rebook when possible. The owners worked very hard to fill our spot. We will re-book this property - the owners were wonderful helping accommodate us. NOTE: We always try our best to re rent as many of the cancelled days as possible, to at least get some money back to our almost guest. In this case it didn't work out unfortunately.

The apt was lovely, clean, well equipped, sunny, bright, comfortable.The location is terrific. A little table on the terrace with chairs would be my only suggestion--the chairs that are there are useless. Our vacation was unexpectedly interrupted by a family medical problem, and we will definitely stay here again when we reschedule our trip. NOTE: New table and chairs have been added to the balcony.

The check-in/check-out were so smooth and the concierge group very friendly.
Lovely patio overlooking the Fairmont with the mountains in the distance. Superb location. I was attending a conference at the Victoria conference centre and really appreciated the convenience of this location and proximity to everything downtown. Bed is comfy. We had room to set up a pack and play for our one year old. Thanks for the lovely stay!

Our interaction with our check-in person, Brenda, was delightful and informative.
We had an amazing four days in Victoria in our rental. The space was more than adequate for our needs. Perfectly located so that in the evenings the lit Parliament building was a lovely focal point. The unit had a beautiful kitchen, living and dining area, a lovely bathroom and a very comfortable bedroom. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One thought is that the shower head is rather weak in its delivery. Perhaps something that provides water intensity options might be considered. We will return to Victoria and we will again hope to have the opportunity to reside with Southern Sights.


PARKING for one vehicle is INCLUDED in the rent in the buildings' secure underground garage.
PARKING GARAGE CLEARANCE is 6 feet 8 inches.
MAXIMUM LENGTH is 18 feet.

CHECK IN time starts at 4:00 pm and CHECK OUT time is by 11:00 am.  Occasionally we may be able to accommodate special requests but there are no guarantees. 

ALL of our rentals are NON-SMOKING.  City/Strata bylaws dictate that there is no smoking of any kind inside, outside, on balconies or even within 7 metres (23 feet) of all buildings.  Fines are enforced.

NO PETS allowed.

No Bike Storage in this Building.

VP cannot guarantee that building amenities will be functional, sometimes they are down for service and this is out of our control.  
There is no wifi in the common areas of buildings, ie: meeting rooms and gym/pool area.

No furniture is ever to be added or removed without written approval and assistance by VP.

The Pool operates on a seasonal basis and is generally open from Victoria Day long weekend to Labour Day long weekend (approximately 3rd weekend of May to 1st weekend of September).  It may be open longer in September but is totally weather dependent.  The hot tub is open year round.

Minimum 3 night rental.
No taxes on 30+ day rentals.
Taxes are 3% Municipal, 5% GST and 8% PST.
FULL MONTH rentals for January and February.
