Every now and then I have the pleasure of accompanying realtors and prospective buyers when they are shopping to find just the right property to buy. I was lucky enough to be in that position with what is now our “The Sky’s the Limit” unit located on the 15th floor of The Falls Building. I left the viewing, came home and said, “Wow, I hope we get that one!” I am thrilled to report that we did get the opportunity to present it to you as a fabulous vacation rental option and here is why:

You will love this spacious 1150 square foot air-conditioned 2 bedroom ( 1 King and 1 Queen), 2-bathoom luxury light-filled home with its sweeping views, exquisite design, luxury finishes and an un-beatable location.

Minutes away from the Inner Harbour and the Empress Hotel, this unit, designed with breathtaking views in mind, is the prime spot for your high-end urban vacation rental stay in Victoria. The floor-to ceiling windows emphasize the beauty of Downtown Victoria, which includes the Inner Harbour, the Strait of Juan de Fuca, the BC Legislature, The Empress and the city itself.

The condo is finely appointed, and includes feature options like a European Schiffini Emporium collection kitchen, granite countertops, high ceilings, large balcony, air conditioning, and an electric fireplace.

Amenities in the building include a well-supplied fitness centre, as well as a large seasonal outdoor swimming pool and hot tub.

With the introduction of a 100-foot cascading waterfall originating at the top of this 18-storey building, the Falls added a unique public art feature to Victoria’s downtown core when it was completed in 2009. In addition to the building’s architectural achievements, the Falls has also become one of Victoria’s leading luxury condo locations.

The two towers of the Falls occupy the east side of Douglas Street between Courtney Street and Burdett Avenue. Below the residences sits 13,000 square feet of commercial space, which includes an HSBC Bank and Brown’s Socialhouse restaurant. And thanks to the building’s central location, residents of the Falls are literally only a few steps away from an assortment of boutique shops, fine restaurants, and vibrant nightlife spots.  We like to inform our guests that being in the heart of it all, you should expect some city noises.  We sometimes have people who want to be in the middle of it all, yet want it to be countryside quiet.

Important Notes:

Bike storage can be a tricky issue.  Every building has a different bike storage policy and there are no guarantees that spots will be available.  Every building has a zero tolerance for bikes in the lobbies or elevators, fines will be issued for such.  Unfortunately this building has no availability in the bike room.
We recommend renting bikes while you are here, many of the bike rental companies will allow them to be stored there at the end of the day even if you rent them for a week.

If you have a large vehicle, please be sure and check the garage clearance for the building to make sure your vehicle will fit.

When I looked at the pictures online it just looked so inviting and I wanted to stay there. I showed it to my husband and he said...go ahead. And then when Lawrence met us at the building and showed us around and up to the suite, we opened the door and I was thrilled! It was a sunny day and everything was perfect. The view is amazing...day or night. Our month stay was lovely. We could walk anywhere. Dinner, movies, groceries and other shopping. We love Victoria and hope to go back again. Thanks for a great stay.

Thank you Dr. Lawrence for helping our stay in Victoria be so wonderful but unfortunately our month long stay has come to an end. A brilliant start to my retirement! The condo lived up to all my expectations, and some. I could have watched the ever changing scenery all day, every day BUT going out and about in Victoria is exciting. The views on Dallas Rd out to the US mountains was awe-inspiring, the beautiful colours on the trees in Beacon Hill Park and the delicious food in the restaurants all made for a very memorable holiday, to name a few. People who live and work in Victoria don't know how lucky they are. Thank you again for a brilliant condo and being so accommodating.

Just want to say we had a great stay! ! Lawrence was very helpful with providing all kinds of information on our first day of arrival. Many thanks to Lawrence and Dani! Our favorite part was being so close to everything in the harbor and so many different walking adventures. The suite was clean and cozy and what a view!! Spent three days in this beautiful city. Went whale watching and saw three Humpbacks. We were a little disappointed that we didn't see the Orcas but very happy with the Humpbacks. We enjoyed an hour long carriage ride, saw Butchart Gardens (beautiful) and dined at some very good restaurants suggested by Lawrence. Thank you Lawrence for the warm welcoming and all the wealth of information you provided us. Also would like to mention that Lawrence had to wait for us as our ferry was late coming in. Job well done. Thank you again.

Thank you to Lawrence for his very thorough introduction to 1506 and his insightful tips. The provided local guide was really terrific and better than we could do with online resources. Watching Canada Day fireworks from the balcony was very special. I'd highly recommend 10 Acres for a high end dinner, but my favourite still is Red Fish Blue Fish, worth the wait. Victoria, Vancouver Island and the wonderful Canadian people continue to charm us and we can't wait to return someday. I don't think we could have chosen better. What a wonderful warm welcome we had from Lawrence as we arrived into Victoria. Loved the apartment, it was extremely comfortable, fabulous views and great proximity to everything. Loved our visit to Butchart then our lunch at Ottavio Italian bakery in Oak Bay. Best seafood lasagna I've ever had at Pagliacci's Restaurant. Also you need to have a piece of carrot cake but make sure you have someone to share with as it is massive. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

Watching Canada Day fireworks from our balcony with our son and his girlfriend, while cooking up some steaks in this well equipped condo was very special. Skys the Limit lives up to its profile and previous reviews. Immaculate, well equipped and absolutely spectacular view of Victoria Harbour. Highly recommend 10 Acres and Red Fish Blue Fish. Working with Victoria Prime was simple and professional. Victoria, Vancouver island, and the wonderful Canadian people continue to charm us and we can't wait to return someday. Everything about this trip was great. Lawrence meet us in the lobby when we arrived and gave us a warm welcome. His insights regarding places to visit and eat were great. The condo had a great view of the inner harbour and it was so centrally located that it was easy to walk everywhere. The condo was neat and clean. A little confusing about your garbage v. recycle (different than ours), but it all worked out. My wife and I had a great time. We do plan to return in a couple of years.

What a wonderful 6 weeks! Never mind that everyone told us that this was the longest coldest winter in a long time. It sure beat the early in Ontario, with it's up and downs, not to mention the snow. The condo is great and with the most incredible views. The YMCA, a short walk, is a very friendly place to work out. We enjoyed all the many of the local restaurants,. Victoria's place is a very nice condo with absolutely stunning views of Victoria and the harbor. We enjoyed the NYE fireworks from the 15th floor windows. Being in the center of the city, we were able to walk most places and enjoyed the museums, restaurants and sights of Victoria. We'd like to thank Lawrence for checking us in and giving us great info about the condo and about Victoria. Using his recommendations, we had a great week in the City. Very good central Victoria location and great view/location for the price.

Notes

PARKING for one vehicle is INCLUDED in the rent in the buildings' secure underground garage.
PARKING GARAGE CLEARANCE is 6 feet 8 inches.
MAXIMUM LENGTH is 18 feet.

CHECK IN time starts at 4:00 pm and CHECK OUT time is by 11:00 am.  Occasionally we may be able to accommodate special requests but there are no guarantees. 

ALL of our rentals are NON-SMOKING. City/Strata bylaws dictate that there is no smoking inside, outside, on balconies or even within 3 metres (30 feet) of all buildings.  Fines are enforced.

NO PETS allowed.

No Bike Storage in this Building.

VP cannot guarantee that building amenities will be functional, sometimes they are down for service and this is out of our control.  
There is no wifi in the common areas of buildings, ie: meeting rooms and gym/pool area.

No furniture is ever to be added or removed without written approval and assistance by VP.

The Pool operates on a seasonal basis and is generally open from Victoria Day long weekend to Labour Day long weekend (approximately 3rd weekend of May to 1st weekend of September).  It may be open longer in September but is totally weather dependent.  The hot tub is open year round.

Minimum 3 night rental.
No taxes on 30+ day rentals.
Tax is 8% Provincial, 3% Municipal and 5% GST. 
FULL MONTH rentals for January and February.
