We recently spent almost 3 weeks staying in the Sunny Astoria. The entire Victoria Prime experience starting with contacting Liz & Maureen, choosing the perfect condo for our stay, meeting our concierge Karen and our time spent at the condo was excellent. Loved being in Victoria, amid the cherry blossoms, daffodils and lush greenery in March instead of the snow that awaits our return to the east. Sunny Astoria is bright and inviting, well situated, well stocked and lovely to come "home" to each day. Thanks to Karen for hosting us. We'll be back!

Victoria and Sunny Astoria were all we could have hoped for. We left California in 100 degree heat and found wonderful relief. The weather was just great. We cooked some meals in our little kitchen and we ate out at some wonderful restaurants. We loved the Oaks Restaurant in Oak Bay and the legislative dining room at the Parliament Building. It is a hidden gem. We got day passes for four days and took the bus (we left the car in the garage). We were able to take in the views on the way to Butchart Gardens and Sidney-only $10 for both of us round trip. No parking fees or directions to worry about since we didn't really know where we were going. We'll be back next year. Many thanks to Yvonne for all her help and to Bruce for fixing a couple of things right away, same day service. Yvonne really sets the tone for the stay with her check in meeting. It would not have been the same without her.

This apartment is in a fantastic location. I came for a work conference at the Victoria Conference Centre and it was just a 5 min walk away. It was spacious, clean and well equipped. The room was comfortable and the office space a nice bonus. Would definitely recommend for a work trip.

We spent the month of Feb 2017 in the Sunny Astoria. This was not our first time in the building, we stayed last, and liked the location so much we returned, and have already booked for next year. Location is perfect, within walking distance of the ocean, restaurants, shopping and cinemas. The apartment is well configured with lots of closet space, well furnished, clean and comfortable. We also appreciated having the nice, bright gym on the ground floor. Adele and Bruce are great, and were very responsive to our questions and requests. I do believe the personalzed service Victoria Prime offers make a huge difference in the nature of the rental experience. Thanks a lot. We look forward to seeing you again next year. The only restaurant I would add to the list provided in the apartment is Agrius at 732 Yates Street. We enjoyed our visit to the Oceanography/Seismology Institute

A fine stay at Sunny Astoria. This was our second year, excellent apartment, quiet building. Superb location close to the Library and the special Cook Street neighbourhood. The island has become a global haven, and Victoria is one of the world's most civil communities. The island has a siren call to stay, remain, linger.

We sure liked the condo - the location was excellent for exploring the local area. We loved 10 Acres our first night and then found that the Market on Yates had plenty of quality ingredients for attempting to re create the dinner at 10 Acres. Highly recommend Movie Night at Oak Bay Beach Hotel - great fun on a Tuesday night. All of the regular stops (Craigderough, Butchart Gardens, and Parliament Bldgs.) were worthwhile too.

The carpets are plush. The bed comfortable, everything is clean and tidy and it's stocked with everything on should ever need.. We were over the moon with having a front loading washer and dryer, iron and ironing board. Victoria Prime and specifically Sharon went above and beyond our expectations. Sharon was helpful in checking us in, and was a great aid throughout our stay as well. In short, we most definately recommend Victoria, Sunny Astoria and the marvellous city they call home. This is our first trip, won't be our last. We may even, some day call it home.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the property. The location was terrific. Everything was clean and orderly and comfortable. It was a great fit for our small family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to come back to the same unit. The apartment was extremely clean, well equipped and bright (which is great but thankfully had blackouts in the bedroom) It would be nice to have them in the den too. Very pleasant decor as well. The location is fabulous - so close to the Inner Harbour. It was also great having gated parking. Finally, it was super nice of Sharon to come by at check in and check out. Our son spent the first few days back in Vancouver pretending to be Sharon, showing us how the keys work. Thanks again for a wonderful stay. See you again soon.

Fabulour stay! The weather cleared and it was sunny with the crispness of fall. Sharon was the best concierge, recommended many good eats (especially Fish Hook, Bubby's) and love the Moss Street Market. This is a great location and the condo is great-perfect for 3 ladies. Nice, clean, all was perfect! Victoria is truly an international city. Bustling, fresh and lovely. So many good restaurants and shopping and views. The best Museum for all lst Nations history. And we love Canadians! Nice, gentle people.

The apt was very clean, with very high end and stylish contemporary decor and had everything we could possibly need. It was a lovely stay and the location was perfect for walking all around town. Sharon was the concierge and met us there and gave us a meticulous orientation AND fabulous restaurant recommendations! (She should publish that book!) we loved our stay and would come back anytime. The only bummer was the street noise, (buses, etc) but it was gorgeous weather and we elected to leave windows open all night! Great value and a great place!

The accommodations were great! The best part was being so close to everything & in walking distance so that we could wear off all those calories we put on at the great restaurants recommended! But the best of all, was the Empress Hotel afternoon tea that my sister in law & I went to one afternoon. It was very special. Perfect in every way!! We had such a perfect time in Sunny Astoria! It was the best base we could have asked for to explore and enjoy Victoria. So grateful for Sharon's suggestions for eating, shopping and just strolling. Don't miss Fan Tan Alley and do NOT hesitate to ask VP folks any questions. They were great to work with from the first inquiry (while Victoria was still just a developing idea) to the last moments of our wonderful visit. Condo building has fabulous security. Next time we'll need a bigger place, as we want to meet up with family; VP will be our first place to look!

Our five days at Sunny Astoria in beautiful Victoria passed too quickly. We loved the central location and security of the Astoria. The apartment was very comfortable and well stocked. Our only regret is that we are not staying for a month!! Rented bikes from BC Cycles and rode Lochside Trail to Sidney - well worth the sore behind!

Yes, this is another glowing review of Sharon, Victoria Prime and Sunny Astoria. As part of our 25th anniversary celebration, we could not have asked for a better place as our base in Victoria. Walked everywhere, great shopping, eating and people watching. Fan Tan Alley was fun to explore, but would never have known about it if not for Sharon. Be sure to stop in to the little Italian bakery. For coffee, Hey Happy on Johnson had a BOMB, Dark Chocolate Mocha. Our anniversary dinner at Cafe Brio topped off our jewel filled trip. Can't wait to return to Victoria and Sunny Astoria. PS Look for Grant Weiss, local Las Vegas NV artist along the waterfront for a beautiful watercolour memory of your visit.

It's true, the pictures are 100% accurate. Condo was wonderfully neat, tidy, bright, comfortable and SUPER convenient location. So easy to come and go on walks in all directions and have a place to land in between. Fabulous to have underground parking. Sharon, the concierge, had an enormous amount of great information about everything you could ever imagine and the answer to all questions in a heartbeat. Would totally stay here again and will recommend it to others as well.


PARKING for one vehicle is INCLUDED in the rent in the buildings' secure underground garage.
PARKING GARAGE CLEARANCE is 6 feet 8 inches.
MAXIMUM LENGTH is 18 feet.

CHECK IN time starts at  4:00 pm and CHECK OUT time is by 11:00 am.  Occasionally we may be able to accommodate special requests but there are no guarantees. 

ALL of our rentals are NON-SMOKING.  City/Strata bylaws dictate that there is no smoking inside, outside, on balconies or even within 30 feet of all buildings  Fines are enforced.

NO PETS allowed.

There is a large bike rack at this parking spot that holds two or three bikes.

VP cannot guarantee that building amenities will be functional, sometimes they are down for service and this is out of our control.  

There is no wifi in the common areas of buildings.

No furniture is ever to be added or removed without written approval and assistance by VP.

Minimum 3 night rental.
No taxes on 30+ day rentals.
Taxes are 3% Municipal, 8% PST and 5% GST.
FULL MONTH rental for January and February.
