Description

Welcome to Citylights, a clean, quiet, contemporary condo that you can call home in Victoria. The Corazon building was completed in 2005, this 12 floor steel and concrete building is considered one of the finest examples of urban residential architecture for its setting. With secure gating and parking, the Corazon provides residents with a luxurious living space that fosters their urban lifestyles.

The city opens up at The Corazon’s doorstep. Enjoy some of the worlds finest dining in dozens of intimate restaurants minutes away from the entrance. Victoria’s Old Town district offers unique boutique shopping in independent stores housed in gorgeous older heritage buildings. With numerous theatres, cinemas, clubs and frequent festivals dotting the city, The Corazon puts you in the middle of one of the most vibrant cities in Canada.

This lovely 2 bedroom, 1 bath suite is tastefully decorated and well equipped for any length of stay. Features include an upgraded ensuite washer/dryer, a kitchen with everything you need and a little more, a balcony and bistro set, high speed wifi, cable TV and a local phone.

The dining table overlooks the balcony, which has outside seating for enjoying the fresh air. The adjacent sitting room/entertainment area boasts full cable channels and DVD player as well as a secure high- speed-internet connection. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and entertaining. Contemporarily furnished, both bedrooms have Queen sized beds, one with ensuite entrance to bathroom. The bathroom has two doors, one to the living area and one to the master, easily accessible for all yet ensuring privacy. For those that require it, the living room has a double pullout for that extra guest.

The location is also fantastic in the newly completed Hudson District, which is in the North East of Victoria’s downtown, one block north of Victoria City Hall and one block east of the city’s historic Chinatown district. The Hudson District is an up-and-coming neighbourhood at the heart of Victoria’s ‘living local’ movement, an amenity-rich hub of culture and entertainment.

One of our favorite features of The Hudson District is The Victoria Public Market which features local food producers at every level – farmers, fishers, butchers, bakers, cheese-makers, preservers, brewers, vintners, florists and restaurateurs.

More than just a business, the Victoria Public Market is a social enterprise managed by the non-profit Victoria Downtown Public Market Society.
It’s a meeting place where local food producers share ideas with one another and their customers, be they residents of Greater Victoria or visitors to Vancouver Island.
It’s a community hub for learning about local farms and food production, as well as regional food security.
It’s food, art, and entertainment under one roof in downtown Victoria, and hosts food-related speakers, book signings, movies, presentations, local musicians and large and small events.
All of this is a steps away from you when staying at Citylights.
Lest we forget that Victoria’s Inner Harbour with all that it offers is also just a few blocks away.

Important Notes:

Bike storage can be a tricky issue.  Every building has a different bike storage policy and there are no guarantees that spots will be available.  Every building has a zero tolerance for bikes in the lobbies or elevators, fines will be issued for such.  If you are bringing a bicycle, please be aware that it is your responsibility to check to see if the unit you want to rent has a place to store it.

We recommend renting bikes while you are here, many of the bike rental companies will allow them to be stored there at the end of the day even if you rent them for a week.

If you have a large vehicle, please be sure and check the garage clearance for the building to make sure your vehicle will fit.

Please see NOTES for more specifics related to this property.

FULL MONTH rentals for January and February.

We really enjoyed our stay in your cozy modern suite in downtown Victoria. The Concierge Arden met us at the building and welcomed us with a brief tour of the building and reviewed the essentials in the suite. The weather cooperated nicely and we had a very active yet relaxing 3 days in Provincial Capital...Thank you!

We had a great time in Victoria. We had a long but nice walk to Craigdarrouch Castle then to Government House and over to delicious Red Fish Blue Fish on the water. Long line but worth it. BC Museum was good and IMAX movies always great. The street performers were entertaining. Empress Hotel nice but busy, overpriced and touristy. Butchart Gardens gorgeous and worth the drive and highly recommend. Accommodations were the perfect place to rest, comfortable, clean. Arden was so easy to work with. Thanks

We really enjoyed our stay!! Some great places to eat are Canoe Club, Paggliccis, (great gluten free pasta), Haros in Sidney. We enjoyed Fishermans Wharf, whale watching, the Craigdorach Castle and biking around the city. The drive out to French and China Beaches is worth it. We also loved the Thursday night market in Sidney. I almost forgot, it was so much fun to feed the seals at Fishermans Wharf and at Oak Bay Marina (much less busy here). Overall a good time was had by all!! Thanks Arden for everything.

We started off our week with a walk down to the water. We ate a the Docks (beautiful scenery and great food) We had beautiful weather the whole week, so we walked a lot! Its great that everything is within walking distance. The second day we took a water taxi over to Fishermans Wharf where we watched the seals and an otter. We had yummy ice cream (huge portions) as well. We kayaked for 2 hours that day. Super fun! Went for a scenic drive over to Oak Bay Marina and hung out at the water for the day. Our fav was Red Fish Blue Fish...and chocolate Favoris for dipped cones. Drew had a great experience at Royals Rookie Camp. Thanks for everything.

It was just magical. I loved the stay over here for our family of five from Dubai. Very comfortable and clean, with extra sheets and a sofa bed. The kitchen was fully equipped. We went whale watching, explored Beacon Hill Park, walked along Dallas Road, visited the colourful floating homes at Fishermans Wharf, and ate at Red Fish Blue Fish. I would definately come back.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and easy to use. We appreciated being able to drop off luggage early and extend our checkout to 2:30. We were close to all the things we wanted to do in town. Just a note that we ended up only having 5 people stay instead of 6 so our bill will need to be adjusted. Thanks. NOTE: Extra person charge has been refunded.

Nice Condo...Reasonable price...This 2 bedroom condo was extremely well kept and clean. We found it quiet and private. The layout of the condo allows separation of the 2nd bedroom from the 1st and the pullout couch was fine for our 16 year old. All in all, it was a perfect layout and fit for 4 people. The only issues we had was a garborator that didnt work and a slow drain in the bathtub, which the managers were unaware of and going to attend to right away, once we left. The underground, secure parking was very nice and the proximity to downtown allowed us to walk from our condo to shopping and restaurants. Great spot... no view though so dont expect one, we knew this and were fine with it.

We had the wonderful experience of staying at the "Citylights" condo in Victoria from July 7-11. We (5 adults) were in Victoria for a wedding which took place a short walk away. Everything at the condo was just as advertised and Liz and Susan were terrific to deal with both on the phone and in person. The building is well secured and is a short walk to all of the downtown attractions. Recommend Barbs Fish and Chips at fishermans wharf for their Fanny Bay Oysters and Willies for terrific breakfasts. Thank you again for providing exceptional service and we will be staying with you again on our next trip to Victoria!

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for letting us stay in your condo; we had a fantastic holiday with our son. The condo was perfect for our needs and we really felt at home. Victoria is a beautiful city - we could have done with a few more days to see everything so will have to come back one day! Please can you also pass on our thanks to Susan who was so kind and helpful.

I need to extend our deepest gratitude to you for making our stay at the condo so incredible while we were in Victoria our sons Royals camp! Everything was absolutely perfect and we were so comfortable in the condo! Your personal recommendations were spot on and we really appreciated your suggestions of places to go and things to do. The close proximity of the condo to the rink and downtown made things so easy for us to get around. It was so important for us that our son was able to enjoy some very relaxing down time while away from the rink, as well as for us to be able to cook healthy meals for him. So many times now I find my mind drifting back to our days spent in Victoria and I have the best memories of our time there! My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed all of the sites and shopping!! We cant wait to return next year! As soon as I find out when our son will need to report to Royals camp next August, you will definitely be hearing from me!
